Scottish Highlands Christmas Events

Spectacular light shows in forest location on the Black Isle

Wildwoodz
between December 11th and 17th 2023
Book Tickets

Limited availability – maximum of 12 Children per slot

** PLEASE NOTE **

The costs to put on Winterwoodz in 2023 have risen by over 20%. This has forced us to make changes to keep it sustainable as our tiny family business has no way of absorbing those rises yet again without funding. The length of your ‘journey’ has been reduced slightly and the dates we are able to run have been reduced by a third. This is still a huge risk for Wildwoodz Ltd so we’d like to make it clear that if we haven’t sold enough tickets by 1st November, the event will be cancelled and full refunds issued.

WINTERWOODZ LOCATION / FAQs Food & Fun

The majority of this experience is outside and includes a forest walk. Please dress for both terrain and weather accordingly. We recommend footwear with grip and ankle support, hats, gloves and multiple layers including one waterproof.

If you haven’t brought a coat, you may get wet. We only cancel in dangerously high winds or thunder and lightening.

Everyone MUST have a ticket to enter.

Prices are subject to change in line with demand and may increase as the event dates draw closer. There is a discount for weeknight bookings.
Infant under 2 – FREE (up to 2 per booking)
Child aged 2-14 – £19.95
Adult aged 12+ – £15.00
Tickets should be booked online wherever possible.
If you experience problems with your booking please don’t hesitate to call us on 01381 622 220. If we can’t answer the phone just leave a message and we’ll all you back as soon as we can.

WinterWoodz is at Wildwoodz Adventure Park – please see the map for location details.

WinterWoodz is an outdoor experience and is covid secure. The nature of the experience means that events happen in small, restricted numbers, pre-booked groups, that will allow different households to remain socially distanced throughout.

Please note: Winterwoodz is a Christmas experience hosted by a tiny family business at a venue with no existing power supply. It costs a LOT of money to put on when generators and lights are hired in. All staff are paid above the minimum wage as it’s not a volunteer underwritten event. There is no outside funding provided, so it’s a risk for us to take on, every year, but we love doing it.

Is it worth it? We think so and so do the people who have left us Facebook reviews over the years.

Is it worth it? We think so and so do the people who have left us Facebook reviews over the years. We are not trying to rip anyone off, just because it’s Christmas. We think we’re providing a memorable family experience at a fair price. We re-invest all profits in a bid to grow the event organically and keep it improving year-on-year. The pandemic has made this even harder for us and even though we are coming out the other side and ‘normality’ is resuming, please be understanding.
